Purpose

The NCITE ITS committee provides a forum for participants to address technical issues related to ITS and to share lessons learned. Some example topics for the committee include the following:

• Providing comments on ITS topics in the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices
• Providing input into the Statewide ITS Regional Architecture
• Developing and refining warrants for ITS devices
• Round robin for members to share information about ITS activities they are involved with

The NCITE ITS Committee was formed in 2008.
