Emerging Technologies Committee
Purpose
The Emerging Technologies Committee provides a forum for participants to address technical issues and questions related to new technology and to share lessons learned. Some example topics for the committee include the following:
- Providing comments on ITS topics in the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices
- Providing input into the Statewide ITS Regional Architecture
- Developing and refining warrants for ITS devices
- Round robin for members to share information about ITS activities they are involved with
The NCITE Emerging Technology Committee was formed in 2021.
